That’s right! We are back! Let’s start this year with an awesome covid breakaway!

Car Society UK would like to invite any clubs or enthusiasts for cars to come join us in Worksop on Sunday 2nd May at the Lock Keeper Pub/Restaurant for a static car meet.
Sandy Lane

This will be our first event of the year, breaking away from the doom and gloom of covid. We are planning on hosting this event every first weekend of the month.

Whilst we’re excited to get back out there, we need to be responsible. There are a few covid guideline rules which we need to maintain while at the event.
* Attend in no more then groups of 6
* Social distance from others wherever possible
* Face masks are worn at the individuals discretion (Not mandatory)
* When entering the venue pub, a face mask must be worn, as well as the use of hand sanitiser
Takeaway food and drinks will be available to purchase at the venue. Please respect the venue hosts Covid Method.

The grounds are perfect to house all types of cars from old to new, from modified to standard.

We are proud to say the lock keeper offers us 20% OFF food when “Car Society UK” is mentioned when paying the bill on the day.

I’d like to ensure you we have strict rules about anti social behaviour and are looking specifically to create a peaceful static environment for people to come see some amazing motors!

The Rules are simply our clubs standing rules and more.

1# No antisocial behaviour – this includes driving at speeds within the grounds, burnouts, drifting and excessive revving of cars.

2# No littering – Any littering from people attending the meets will be asked to simply leave. We want to keep this space so we must look after it and clean up after ourselves.

3# Return of restaurant possessions – Return/bin any drink glasses/cups back to the restaurant before you leave the event.

Anyone found breaking these 3 rules above will be noted and asked to leave the venue. Let’s not ruin it for everyone else!

So come on down grab a drink and grub from the pub and check out some of the different varieties of cars!

Finally just enjoy the meet and have fun.
We all agree this is a much better location to host car events, so let’s keep it!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at The Lock Keeper on Sunday 2nd May 2021 at 2pm!
