Description
Classic car enthusiasts will once again be revving their engines to support seriously ill local children at the Classic at the College event this summer.
On 3rd June drivers will meet at Hope House before driving a scenic route through the countryside before ending up at Ellesmere College where there will be a fun-packed afternoon of stalls, cake sales, entertainment and many fundraising activities, as well as the chance for people to view all the classic cars which will be on display at the grounds.
For the first time, car enthusiasts can choose to take part in the rally before exhibiting their car at Ellesmere College or they can simply just exhibit. Whatever you choose, your day will begin at the wonderful Hope House Children’s Hospices where you will register (9.30am to 10.30am if taking part in the rally and 11am to 11.30am if you are exhibiting only). Refreshments will be available to purchase at registration.
The rally will begin at 10.30am and you will be provided with a route that takes you on a scenic drive through beautiful Shropshire countryside before arriving at Ellesmere College around midday. Exhibitors only will be given directions at registration direct to Ellesmere College.
Cars will be exhibited until 4pm. Fundraising activities will be taking place, cakes will be available to purchase and much more.
Visitors can view the exhibited cars for free. Visitors and exhibitors can vote for their favourite car and the owner will receive a well earned trophy.
