PORT SOLENT CAR MEET RULES

All our events are fully insured, sponsored and supported by Port Solent Management.

 

You are welcome to attend our events providing your vehicle meets any of the following criteria:

Cars that are welcome

All Hotrods

All Classic Vehicles (pre-1995)

All American / Australian

All Motor Bikes / Scooters

All Supercars

All Porsches

All Electric Vehicles

4OObhp plus Vehicles

Kit Cars

M Powered Bmw & AMG Mercedes & Rs Audis

Tractors, Classic Industrial and Military Vehicles

All Emergency Vehicles

You may also email the above if you feel you have an unusual or different vehicle that you would like to show (if you can include a photograph of your vehicle then that will help enormously).

RULES

Please do not be offended if your vehicle is turned away, there is a free public car park immediately adjacent to the event where you can park and still view the show cars.

Please be respectful to Port Solent and their visitors by driving sensibly and keeping noise level to a minimum.
 

Please only park within the allocated parking bays, as directed by the Marshals.

We apply a zero-tolerance policy. Please respect the Marshal’s decision at all times.

Burnouts, excessive revving of engines and popping will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave if you do not comply with this rule.
 

The use of Drones is not permitted without prior permission from the organisers. For approval to be granted, the drone operator must supply a copy of both their CCA Flyer ID and their Operator ID.
 

We ask politely that when using the Facebook page, you respect the opinions and vehicles of others and do not use abusive language.
 

If this happens, you will be removed and blocked from the group.

 

This is a family and pet-friendly car meet for all to enjoy.

 

Port Solent car meet/Port Solent will not be responsible for any damage to vehicles/Persons while attending an event.

 

THURSDAY EVENING RULES

Thursday meets on the waterfront will run from 18:30 till 21:00.

Thursday nights are strictly static meets organised by individual clubs of which you have to be a member of to attend.

All vehicles must be in place by 19:30 at the latest, after which time no further vehicles will be admitted.

You are unable to leave the site before 21:00.

All vehicles must be off site by 21:30 at the latest for security reasons.

No music or engine revving.

Please drive respectfully when entering and leaving the waterside location.

*Please note Port Solent Car Meet is always looking for new marshals to join the team. If you help marshal our meets, consideration may be given to allow your car access to the event, within reason, even if it does not fully comply with the criteria.
